Glass bottles have been present in China since ancient times. While it was once believed that glassware was rare in ancient times and limited to the ruling classes, recent studies suggest that the production of ancient glassware was not difficult but preserving them has proven challenging. Glass bottles have remained a traditional packaging choice for beverages in China and continue to hold a significant position in the fragrance packaging industry due to their unique characteristics.

As a manufacturer of candle jars, we would like to share the process of purifying glass bottle soot blowing.

The soot blowing purification section is essential when high-quality sprayed workpieces are required. Without this section, dust particles may adhere to the workpiece, compromising its surface quality.

Drying section:

Care should be taken regarding temperature and baking time in this section. The optimal temperature for powder drying is typically between 180 to 200 degrees, depending on the workpiece material. It is also important to ensure that the drying furnace is not too far from the powder spraying room, preferably within a distance of 6 meters.

Dusting section:

The expertise of the dusting master plays a crucial role in this section. To achieve superior quality, it is necessary to employ a skilled technician.

Glass packaging containers possess several key characteristics, including non-toxicity, transparency, and beauty. They offer excellent barrier properties, airtightness, affordability, and reusability. Additionally, glass containers exhibit resistance to heat, pressure, and cleaning, allowing for high-temperature sterilization and low-temperature storage. These advantages make glass the preferred packaging material for various beverages such as beer, fruit tea, and jujube juice.

Glass beer bottles dominate the global market, accounting for 71% of beer packaging worldwide. In China, glass beer bottles hold the largest share, representing 55% of global glass beer bottles with an annual production exceeding 50 billion units. The stability of glass, its lack of pollutants, and its affordability contribute to its continued preference in the beer industry. Glass bottles are favored not only for their attractive appearance but also for their tactile appeal. Overall, glass bottles remain the go-to packaging choice for beer companies and are beloved by consumers.

The production process of glass bottles primarily involves the following steps: 1) Pre-processing of raw materials, including crushing, drying, and iron removal to ensure the quality of the glass. 2) Batch material preparation. 3) Melting of the glass batch at high temperatures to form a uniform and bubble-free liquid glass. This is typically done in a pool kiln or furnace. 4) Molding, where the liquid glass is shaped into desired forms using molds, such as flat plates and various utensils. 5) Heat treatment, including annealing and quenching, to eliminate or induce stress, phase separation, or crystallization in the glass and alter its structural state.
