This is typically done in a pool kiln or furnace. 4) Molding, where the liquid glass is shaped into desired forms using molds, such as flat plates and various utensils. 5) Heat treatment, including annealing and quenching, to eliminate or induce stress, phase separation, or crystallization in the glass and alter its structural state.
